National Art Honor Society

National Art Honor Society inspires and recognizes those students who have shown outstanding ability in art. The club fosters excellence and a dedicated spirit to the pursuit of art and furthers creative abilities and talents of the Society's members, as well as the school's entire art enrollment. The group aids members in working toward the attainment of their highest potential in an art area and increases an awareness of art in relation to other areas of the school curriculum.

2009-2010 Goals

• Induct new members and plan ceremony for January
• Custom design and paint silk scarves and ties for Christmas
• Design and paint a mural in library at St. John/Holy Rosary
• Assist with Eight Grade Art Competition
• Visit local art galleries as a group
• Plan an overnight trip to Pittsburgh to visit Carnegie and Andy Warhol art museums
