MERCYHURST PREP ENTRANCE EXAM

Mercyhurst Prep requires all incoming 9th graders to take our Entrance Exam as this is one of the tools that will be used to determine acceptance to Mercyhurst Prep. The exam will also be used to determine academic scholarship, if you have submitted the academic scholarship form.

Things you should know about the Entrance Exam.

You must complete and submit an application to MPS prior to taking the exam. (There is $10 application fee)
There is no Entrance Exam fee.
You should arrive at the main entrance of Mercyhurst Prep (the entrance with the flag pole in front).
Students should arrive at MPS between 8:30-9:00 am. There is a rolling start time for the exam which means that after a group of 25 students sign in they will be taken to a classroom and begin testing.
The exam will take approximately three hours.
Please bring two #2 pencils.
No calculators will be allowed.
Parents do not need to stay while the exam is going on however they are welcomed to wait in the Library is they so desire.
