William Bengel ,

  • Represented Erie area schools on the PIAA District 10 Committee for 10 years.

  • Girls’ basketball head coach for 17 years
  • Teams won PIAA State Championships in 1986 (Erie’s first girls’ basketball championship) and 1991
  • Inducted Metro Erie Chapter Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 2002.
